These<strong> ecotechnologies<\/strong> are <strong>bioinspired<\/strong> by the ability of natural wetlands to treat various pollutions, via interactions with substrate, plants and especially the associated microorganisms (<strong>phytoremediation<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Constructed wetlands<\/strong> are artificial wetlands with water flowing over a bottom made of soil substrate for plant growth (macrophytes). <strong>Waste stabilisation ponds or lagoons<\/strong> are based on the oxygenating action of microalgae (microphytes). In an intermediate version called <strong>floating constructed wetlands<\/strong>, the plants grow on floating mats, their immersed roots (and the attached microcosm) promoting actively for the depollution of water.<\/p>\n<p>In agreement with our principles and values, we apply these <strong>extensive technologies<\/strong> to provide multiple benefits to our clients\u2019 facilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Efficient and <strong>appropriate treatment<\/strong> of suspended solids, organic matter and several hazardous compounds and micropollutants, as well as some inorganic compounds;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resistance to load variations<\/strong> and adaptation to a wide spectrum of concentrations;<\/li>\n<li>Competitive construction <strong>cost<\/strong> and negligible operational cost;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ease of operation, low energy consumption<\/strong> as well as chemicals consumption;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rusticity<\/strong> and <strong>rapid appropriation<\/strong> of technology by local stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Landscape integration<\/strong>,<strong> amenity<\/strong> and <strong>biodiversity<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the relevant dimensioning and engineering, our <strong>added value<\/strong> lies in the <strong>combination<\/strong> and <strong>tailor-made<\/strong> implementation of a succession of different wetlands\/ponds and biotopes (water depth, choice of plant types, etc.), in combination with our other solutions (vegetated filters, etc.).
